1. Scope
This privacy policy explains how information is handled when you visit jlvd.dev, submit a project inquiry, or use GALILEO, our AI-assisted project intake.
2. Information you provide
When you submit the standard project brief, we process the details you provide, such as project type, project or company name, email address and project description. When you use GALILEO, we may also process your chat messages, contact details, project requirements and files you choose to attach.
3. GALILEO AI project intake
GALILEO uses the OpenAI API to help interpret project requirements and ask follow-up questions. Messages and newly attached materials may be sent to OpenAI for this purpose. We send only the current project state, the latest relevant message context and new attachments needed for that turn rather than repeatedly sending the full conversation.
When you transmit a GALILEO project, the resulting brief, your contact details, the conversation log and attachments may be delivered to JLVD through email and our private Telegram bot so the studio can review and respond to the inquiry.
4. Technical data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard technical logs required to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested pages. We also use lightweight rate limiting to protect forms and GALILEO from automated abuse.
5. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use jlvd.dev, including visits, page views, general device/browser information and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. Analytics is used for product and website improvement, not to sell personal information.
We do not intentionally send the text of your project description, GALILEO conversation or contact details to Google Analytics.
6. Why we use information
- to understand and respond to project inquiries;
- to prepare a useful project brief before a human review;
- to discuss, quote and deliver requested development work;
- to protect the website and connected services from abuse;
- to measure website usage and improve the experience;
- to meet applicable legal or contractual obligations.
7. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary for hosting, email, analytics, AI-assisted intake, security and communications. These can include our hosting/email provider, Google Analytics, OpenAI for GALILEO processing, and Telegram for delivery of submitted lead notifications to JLVD. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
8. Retention
Temporary GALILEO session data and uploads are stored on the JLVD server so a conversation can be completed. Abandoned sessions are scheduled for deletion after approximately 7 days; submitted session copies are scheduled for deletion after approximately 30 days. Copies delivered through email or Telegram, and later project communications, may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for the inquiry, potential engagement, active work, accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can contact us to make a request.
